Audax No. 7 and the 100km Consensus
Audax is a group effort. The tempo is not subjective. It's fixed, or at least as fixed as it can be in actual practice. On the road, pace and momentum, inertia, as well as moods and legs are never static. It takes a lot of compromise to experience a five hour long consensus! The whole thing doesn't necessarily feel good, but the benefits of overcoming the challenges, be they physical, mental, emotional, personal or social, become evident once we unclip and put our feet back on the ground.
Thank you Denton Audax Turkeys for another great ride! I literally couldn't do it without you.
